General Intensive Care
Intensive care units are units in which critically ill patients are followed for 24 hours, based on a multidisciplinary approach, and vital support is provided using advanced technologies. In these units, patients with multiple traumas, patients requiring care after major surgeries, patients with severe infections or patients who develop one or more organ failure due to any reason are followed up and treated.
Special treatments such as advanced respiratory support (invasive or non-invasive mechanical ventilator support, high flow oxygen support-HFNC: high flow nasal cannul, ECMO: extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support, etc.), circulatory support, and hemodialysis are applied to critical, life-threatening patients.
Intensive care specialist physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses, physiotherapists and other relevant health professionals who have received minor training from various branches in intensive care units serve together.
Coronary intensive care : It is an intensive care unit with patients who need further follow-up and treatment due to cardiac problems.
cardiovascular surgery intensive care : It is the intensive care unit where patients who have undergone open heart surgery or large vessel surgery are followed up.
Pediatric Intensive care : It is the intensive care unit where patients under the age of 18 who have developed one or more organ failures are followed up and treated.
neonatal intensive care : It is the intensive care unit for newborns with serious diseases, where pediatric intensive care specialists and pediatricians are followed up by competent nurses.
